Our Journey – Building the best Tattoo Studio in Z\u00fcrich<\/h3>

At Korda Tattoo Collective, every tattoo and piercing tells a story\u2014starting with ours. What began in a wine bar in Dubrovnik has grown into one of Zurich\u2019s most welcoming and personalized tattoo studios. Here\u2019s how we got here, the challenges we faced, and why we\u2019re passionate about making every client feel at home.<\/p>

How Our Tattoo Journey Began<\/strong><\/h4>

Our story started in the heart of Dubrovnik, where I was a bartender and Marina was a waitress at the same wine bar. By day, we poured drinks; by night, we dreamed big. During winters, I returned to Zagreb to study graphic design and began tattooing as a creative outlet. Marina, also in Zagreb studying mathematics, loved tattoos and soon became one of my first clients.<\/p>

Within a year, we became a couple, and I decided to leave my studies and pursue tattooing full-time. Marina supported my dream and joined me after learning the art of piercing. I opened a small studio<\/a> in Croatia, which eventually grew into a thriving business in the city center, and Marina joined me after a year.<\/p>

Moving to Zurich: Building a Tattoo Studio from Scratch<\/strong><\/h4>

After five successful years in Croatia, we wanted a new adventure. In February 2020, we moved to Zurich with big dreams\u2014but the timing couldn\u2019t have been worse. Just two weeks later, COVID lockdowns began, leaving us unable to work for almost a year.<\/p>

Starting from scratch in a new country during a pandemic was one of the biggest challenges we\u2019ve faced. With zero clients and no way to open immediately, we relied on our creativity and perseverance, building our presence through marketing that we managed ourselves.<\/p>

In January 2021, we finally opened our studio in Zurich, and our journey here has been nothing short of incredible.<\/p>
